Outrage As Transgender Child’s Mum Blasts Christian Couple Over Interference
The news of how a Christian couple withdrew their child from England Primary School over the transgender case of another pupil hit the media early this week.
Recently, the mother of the child who identifies as transgender has blasted the Christian couple over their decision to take their children out of school due to another student who is gender fluid.
CEO of transgender charity Mermaids Susie Green blasted Nigel and Sally Rowe for not only removing their child from school but also for the publicity they had attracted to the case.
Speaking on This Morning to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, Susie said: “I was outraged, to be honest. They clearly didn’t have any thought of the impact it would have on the children of the families they had outed because the Isle of Wight is a small community, so it’s going to be very obvious for everybody who they’re talking about.”
The enraged campaigner continued: “The other side of this is, in terms of them saying, ‘Go and get treatment? What was their final agenda in this?’ And they kept avoiding and actually saying that.
“They said that the child needs to be taken aside somewhere private, so what, are they saying that trans children don’t deserve to be with the population of the school?
“Should they be taken out? Is that what they’re saying? And we’re going back to racial segregation and people being divided because they’re different. What do they think they’re talking about? It’s absolutely ridiculous.”
She said that she was “baffled” over why the Rowes were affected by what another person’s child is doing, especially if they were not hurting anyone else.
When host Phillip, 55, ventured to suggest that one of the Rowes’ children had come home from school upset by the other parent, Susie hit back: “Don’t you just explain? My children came home from school and they were confused about their maths homework.
“We sat down, we worked it out, we explained. When I explained to my other children that they’re older sister is transgender, I just sat them down and explained.”
The fierce exchange comes a day after the Rowes made a controversial appearance on the ITV breakfast show, leading to viewers calling for them to be taken off the programme.
The husband and wife hit headlines over the weekend when it was revealed that they are taking their children’s primary school to an educational tribunal because they don’t believe that transgenderism should exist in the classroom.
