God’s Word Is The True Agent Of Change- T.A.K.
Dynamic twin brothers, Taiwo and Kehinde Eshanomi popularly known by their stage name T.A.K. are set to launch the first edition of their music and arts show titled ‘The Mandate’. In this interview with www.ecclezzia.com, the music ministers talk about the many unusual features planned for the open air crusade, the many popular gospel artistes expected to minister at The Mandate and God’s word being the only true agent of change. Excerpts;
Ecclezzia: TAK could mean so many things. In this case what does TAK stand for?
T.A.K: Well, thank you very much. First of all it’s T.A.K not TAK. It’s an acronym for Taiwo and Kenny.
Ecclezzia: Apart from being twin brothers, what other unique bonds and talents do you share?
T.A.K: We share same vision and purpose for living together. Well, our vision is embedded or founded on God’s word… It is to shine ever so brightly the light of the glorious gospel of Christ to our generation and beyond through music and arts. The purpose is to win them and deliver to them this same message of reconciliation.
Ecclezzia: What are some of the ways you have been able to pass this message to the world?
T.A.K: Well, majorly through our musical efforts. We discover that our songs communicate the message faster than just words. We also organise music and arts outreaches to engage the young ones around us. Of course engage and inspire them
Ecclezzia: We believe one of those outreaches is ‘The Mandate’?
Ecclezzia: So what is ‘The Mandate’ all about?
T.A.K: The Mandate with T.A.K is a vision birthed by the spirit of God in a place of personal fellowship with God’s spirit in prayers. He told us to reach out to specifically Teenagers and young men and women with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the BLW Nation. The event is all about music and arts. It’s not the regular crusades where we have a man of God to preach the word and make altar call for those who would be saved. It’s going to be a series, meaning after this maiden edition we’d have more in different parts of the world starting from Lagos Nigeria.
Ecclezzia: When and where is the maiden edition holding?
T.A.K: It’s holding on Saturday the 5th of August 2017 at Ogba Asade Royal Palace Square, Ogba road Agege Lagos.
Ecclezzia: Who are some of the ministers expected at the inaugural edition of ‘The Mandate’?
T.A.K: We have the honor of hosting gospel reggae icon Buchi, T-Sharp, Chris Shalom, Agent Snypa, Protek and a host of other anointed gospel music ministers at the very first edition of The Mandate with T.A.K .
Ecclezzia: Is the concert only for teenagers and young adults?
T.A.K: Yes, that’s our target audience but of course it’s a music concert so adults are welcomed as well
Ecclezzia: Tell us about some of your popular songs
T.A.K: Wowwww, we have several popular songs by the grace of God, but worthy of note are; Allelu #yeebaaa which by the way is got a world-class video airing currently nation wide both on satellite and local TV stations, Sound code #Say it and get it which features some senior leaders of The BLW Rap Nation, Oghene meh a South South indigenous song which talks about what the Lord has done for us and how we can’t tell it all, just to mention but a few.
Ecclezzia: So, what are some of the key messages to teenagers who follow you ahead of The Mandate?
T.A.K: Our message to them is clear; you are the new set of leaders for this generation and for this reason we bring you the material to help you build the right foundation so at the time you will take up responsibilities in running the affairs of this nation, you can bring about the true change that the people cry for. This building material is the word of God rendered in music, dance, comedy, poetry etc. Remember, God’s word is the only true agent of change!!! Men can only try to bring about change but without God’s word, man cannot change another except by the word of God.
