Gospel Artiste Urges Aregbesola To Engage God In Praise
The Coordinator of Born-to-Praise Africa, Lawrence Bamilaw, has implored Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola; and members of his cabinet to participate in Osun 24-hour marathon praise to seek the face of the almighty God for solution to the financial turmoil in the state.
Bamilaw is hosting church choirs and Gospel Ministers in a 24-hour Praise Marathon which will take on Friday
Asked what would be the benefit of the state if the people decide to worship God in the marathon praise coming up on Friday, Bamilaw said God would heal Osun State and bring its economic hardship to an end.
He said, “We are using this medium to invite the Osun State Government. If something is going to happen to the state, some key heads in the government must come to praise God and there will be abundance within the next 24 hours after the marathon praise.
“We need humility of participation on the part of the state government. We have not asked any government for anything but we want them to come and praise God and everybody will see the wonders of praise.”
Bamilaw said God required that anyone, who would praise him, must come with humility irrespective of their status, adding that God does not tolerate arrogance from anybody.
Asked if payment of tithes was still relevant in the New Testament era, Bamilaw said paying tithe is scriptural.
He also said that anybody, who wanted to bring any money for the programme should see it as giving it to the Lord, saying ” nobody should bring any money and think he can command Jesus Christ.”
