Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy reads like a page-turning novel, and inspires like a great ancient devotional. I couldn’t put it down. It is the finest book I have read in 10 years. As biographies go, author Eric Metaxas has researched and written on par with David McCullough’s fabulous work, John Adams. This book is a must read, and it will create a thirst for Bonhoeffer’s original writings.
